Incredibly emotional, wonderfully written, and just plain great. Accomplishes the impossible task of having interesting, fleshed out female characters-- IN A MCU FIC. Seriously there's like negative women in the MCU the author tried so hard 10/10

Taylor is a horrifically bullied teenage girl who has the superpower to control bugs and is three steps from going Carrie on her school. The only thing keeping her going is a burning desire to become a hero, and have literally anything in her life not defined by trauma. So when an opportunity to become a hero arises she leaps for it, even if it means jumping into another world.
Ciri is a traumatized princess hunted by her past, filled with unfathomable interdimensional power, righteous determination, and less restraint than one might hope. Caught by a monster and about to die, she reaches out with her power to pull a hero from another world to save her. A hero and, maybe, a friend.
Geralt is a magically mutated superhuman who has been stoically exterminating monsters for over a century. He is good at his job, reliable, and avoids politics at all costs. Politics, however, sometimes finds him anyway, which is how he found himself the ward of a young dethroned princess with more bravado than wits. He'll manage just like always though, and find a way to balance his monster slaying job with caring for this magical teenage powerhouse.
However two teenage powerhouses might be too much even for him.

As someone who knows fuck-all about the witcher, I love this fic. the characters all have distinct tones of voice, and their interactions slap too! and I love the concept. There's clearly a lot of work put into this-- and you should give it a read!
