Arthur can’t remember a time he’s been this cold.
Still, he presses forward. There is somewhere he needs to be. Someone he’s looking for. He doesn’t remember how he came to be here, or where he’s going, but he knows who he is, and that he has to keep going.
He knows: if he stops, he’ll freeze, and if he stops, he’ll forget. The one is infinitely more frightening than the other.

Most nights Arthur pretends to be asleep in the hopes that Eames will say that he loves Arthur too. (I kind of picture that at one point Arthur told Eames he loved him and Eames was a bit surprised and awkward and said something really awful like 'Er, thank you')
