He wakes up. A couple of things occur to Mark at once. They are in the hotel bed together, but it’s not sunrise yet. Helly isn’t naked and spread under him. She’s curled up to the side of him in her bathrobe, snoring into his neck.
And, the worst realization yet—in a sudden rush, Mark figures out he’s been rolling his hips into Helly’s thigh as she sleeps, moaning her name out loud, chasing the orgasm he’s been on the brink of for hours.
