Summary
Shouta Aizawa finds an injured and soaked-from-the-rain Izuku Midoriya cowering in an alleyway. His circumstances raise some red flags, and against his better judgment, Shouta tries to get to the bottom of it.
He doesn't like what he finds.
Shouta can't take care of a kid on his own, so he has to figure out how to move forward without hurting said kid in the process.

Summary
The masked man turned to him, stepping forward with leisurely cruelty.
"Ohh, what do we have here?" His voice was like gravel scraping glass. "The great healer’s runt. You've got your Inko’s eyes, boy. No wonder she disappeared from Caelumbra—hiding something precious." He grinned, revealing jagged yellow teeth. "Quite noble, wasn't she?"
"W-who are you?" Izuku's voice cracked. "How do you know my mom?"
The masked man stepped closer.
Izuku's legs trembled. His chest heaved. Every instinct screamed at him to run.
The man raised his other hand, claws gleaming, poised to strike—
BOOM!
A fiery explosion slammed into the masked man, sending him flying backward and releasing Izuku, who collapsed to the ground, coughing violently.
"Hey, dipshit," a harsh, gravelly voice barked from the shadows. "You picked the wrong night to piss me off."

OR: Izuku was living his life on earth but one fated night after his 18th birthday, a masked man appeared and killed his grandfather and two magical students came calling themselves as half-bloods went to save him.

Summary
Izuku had spent three decades in captivity. A glorified house arrest similar to that of a zoo animal, according to his research on Terran life. He was bound to this god awful ship that could not operate without his presence on board. He could leave, of course, but the ship would die in short order if he was gone for too long.
That would be a catastrophe, to the Terrans, anyway.
Izuku was the last living survivor of the Antimatter War. He was the last living member of the Nefling race - a sentient race of tall, ethereal ‘space elves’ as the Humans called them.

OR: Alien!Izuku has been captive to the human race for 30 years after they eradicated Izuku's home and everyone he loved. He is bound to the last antimatter engine from his home, a ship the humans tore apart to retrofit into their own. What will happen if that engine finally dies?

“Mmmm, about that concussion. Wiped me clean. Couldn’t even tell you my name.”
Apparently in losing his memory, he gained a biting tongue. Actually, no, that sass had always been there. He just usually had a very large filter in front of it.
Did +quirk and then -quirk = sassy quirkless? That was some new fucking math.
“Uggggh!” Izuku’s head snapped back against the wall for the N’th time when his captor threw him away in frustration. “You’re supposed to be the kind hero who saves everyone with a smile. Where’s that Deku?”
“He took a swan dive off a roof about a year ago.”

OR: Izuku is captured by a villain who decides to give Izuku the ability to smile without his mask, in a gruesome way. Can Katsuki and the Vestiges pull Izuku out of the pits of darkness this leaves him in?
