An open, unmoderated collection to archive fanworks featuring trans and nonbinary characters, regardless of medium or fandom. These are stories of our own, stories that challenge the gender binary and represent the diversity of the gender spectrum. By adding your fanworks to this collection, you'll increase the visibility of trans and nonbinary representation in fandom(s), and you'll enable other folks to find stories featuring characters and stories that resonate.

Summary
Riley Soren is starting a new life at 23.
Coming out nonbinary has made them hungry for new experiences lived as their authentic self. So when their best friend, Bri, invites them to live in San Francisco, they leave Illinois without looking back.
Riley is excited for their new life. They hope they might even find someone to love them as they are.
But can they really start over in The City, or will their old life catch up with them?
Alex is the owner of Bibliophile, a queer bookstore nestled in the Castro. Though he still believes in the mission, he lost his light when he lost his partner. His life has been a cycle of carefully caring for Bibliophile while letting himself wither away.
When Riley blows into his life, they remind him what it's like to feel.
But Riley also represents danger to Alex.
Would loving them be a betrayal?

Summary
Changing universes, getting superpowers, and merging mind and soul with a homeless orphan child isn't terribly dramatic or difficult. The parts before that really aren't all that much worse. Unfortunately, that's only the beginning for poor, unfortunate, Jacqueline Colere. Being small and adorable is a pretty good superpower, as is being mostly capable of making good decisions. And healing powers are pretty great, even if they’re also pretty useless in a fight. She even has good people skills (sorta) and surprisingly good knowledge, maturity and planning ability for a fourteen year old.
Now if only the universe she’d arrived in wasn’t a horrible, horrible mess in all sorts of ways, and maybe if she’d actually so much as heard of the story she’d supposedly been shoved into, things would be great.
Well, in comparison to her current situation, anyway. By this point, she'd take it.
