    I loved this story. The deep dive into naming and identity and belonging and who you are vs who you choose to be. I loved Robby's bubbe. I also agree so hard about "Motorcycle Mike" and I think he's literally only leaving the TV on to get her to leave. "Mike" is what he breaks out for people he has no intention of keeping around. Or they take it upon themselves to use it without his input.

    PS I'm also very invested in whether or not they figure out the time when they were still med students at the conference lol

      Jack definitely recognised him back in New Orleans, and so he remembers, but he assumes Robby doesn't remember it. Which isn't true, Robby just assumes the world is large and there's no way he's accidentally slept with the same man three times. He's absolutely going to tell him but save it for the right moment, i.e. when he can make the most of it. Thank you for this lovely comment, I've been a huge fan of your fics since AOS days so I squeed when I saw your name!!
