Ah I'm so glad it came across how I meant it. I have a very common name that I like but never felt very connected to because it was so common, so when I did eventually get a nickname that stuck I really was happy that this could be my name...only for people to be like lol no. So I absolutely projected onto him for this one (but when don't it??).
I liked the idea of them joined by kismet, always finding each other but it never being the right time, even when they do, there's COVID and so they still have to wait. And it's so the sweeter for it, and Robby gets to use his words and be heard. Romance of the highest order, to me.
