      Ah! First, thank you for stopping by and reading. Second, your comments genuinely brightened an utterly grueling week and a half, things have been so, so busy that I haven’t really been able to sit down and update, so I really loved reading them. Third, that is pretty much exactly how I imagined Daeron throughout this whole situation. Egg’s line from The Hedge Knight, He didn't want to ride in the tourney, so after we left Summerhall he stole away from our escort, only instead of doubling back he went straight on toward Ashford, thinking they'd never look for us that way. really cemented for me what a brilliant failson he is.
