    For the purposes of the story, Taylor is the only actual character that has any functional connection to the broader Nasu-verse. In part, it's an Out-of-Context-Problem sort of situation - but other characters and their myths might get brought up in passing or be mentioned.

    As for how the Entities function and Shards - I'm translating the mechanics as best I can. As Taylor noted herself - the air of Earth Bet is 'dead' for lack of a better word, as there is no Gaia or Alaya or broader connection to a magical wellspring or Age of Gods. So no magi - unfortunately - and Taylor herself only has access to her prana because of her unique skill - Magna Carta.

    On a broader point, that's something to be explored. Wildbow's philosophy seemed to be to work within the limits of science and pseudo-science - while Fate and Type-Moon in general operates more on a conceptual level of interaction. I've already mapped out how a lot of the interactions of various esoteric powers would go -

    But to make a longer explanation short? Taylor's the only real Nasu-verse character in the story - and part of the story revolves around just how different that makes her conceptually to regular capes and the disparity between them. So, unfortunately, no shadow wars.

    Because, quite frankly, even if Gaia and Alaya were at a fraction of their power - but could access the Counter-Force or Throne? The entities in general would be rather buggered. Especially since they'd technically be counted as TYPEs or Outsiders

      If you really need to stretch it, Bet would likely not even have an active Alaya, since part of Alaya could be considered the collective hope of mankind to survive, and Bet is a "hopeless" world.

        I already decided that Alaya and Gaia aren't active forces on Earth Bet. Bet is, as you said, a hopeless world. But also because I am playing in Wildbow's sandbox - and I wanna really explore it as much as I can without dragging Fate lore too deeply into it and making a convoluted mess of things. I could make it work - but it would introduce far too many elements that just isn't going to work well with how Earth Bet functions as a society - especially with how the society and history functions in relation to various powers.
