Most of your characterization seems fun, I like how you’re taking a more ‘real’ feel for most of these people.
The only bit of characterization I have a problem with is that you have Amy fuck. Amy does not fuck, in fact the plot of worm would have been substantially different if Amy fucked (in any way other than up). Friends are for the well adjusted, THE lesbian disaster does not mess with that.
That got me cackling, not gonna lie. Amy's one of my favorite characters though - and I always seem to hurt her. So I'm trying to give her a little bit of love, you know?
She's a disaster, but she's trying. Terribly, but she's trying. Let her have this win? Pretty please?
I have to agree with North. I didn't mention it (skipped my mind, to be honest:) ) but that's right. It's a big change. Not that it's a bad one, I'm sure you can make it work and it'll be fun. But it's a major "detail" that should be acknowledged and have the impact it deserves.
Practically any other character getting laid, I'd be like "eh, cool," but Amy. That's a plot twist right there.
Oh, I know. And it will be. I tend to be more simulationist when it comes to these things. Part of it is how I tend to write her psychology- and part of it is her broken philosophy and sense of self.
I've got ideas for her - and where she's at mentally. Which path I'll take it is still something I'm considering but...
Well.
Broken people tend to look put together when they're interested in not showing their scars. And who Amy is, who she presents, and who she wants to be are very different.
Hmm. Things can get better, even as they get worse?
