YOURE BACK!! i don't remember if i left a comment but i was just rereading this the other week being like omg i missed these fucking nerds and losers. i'm loving all these additions and the developments to their relationships and this addition did not disappoint for me. you said you have difficulty writing plain old normal conversations but honestly i think it works for the story you're trying to tell. neither of them are great at communicating on instinct, both of them are constantly afraid of saying something that will cross a line, they still don't really know what it looks like to be together if it's not about sex, and they're also just complete dorks ahfjwjfjba. so it all makes for this compelling story and this bit serves as a good step forward for them where they're learning how to be in each other's company when they aren't in private and/or having sex. and it's honestly so adorable how much jason is willing to put himself out there and try, even knowing that it will be difficult and might not have the payoff he wants. also loved tim in this. trying to be polite and sweet and treat it like a real first date only to immediately fold and call jay at 3 am. freak. freak i say.
once again, i'm loving every moment of this series and it's one of my faves, i always cheer whenever there's a new update. i can't wait for them to have hardcore freak sex and also potentially go on some more cute dates <33
