The sort functions were moved into the gray box with the filters. Under the top "Sort and Filter" button there's a popup menu labeled "Sort by" with options for date, word count, and author, as well as new options to sort by numbers of kudos, comments, or bookmarks. Just choose an option and hit the "Sort and Filter" button to sort the works by that parameter (as well as filtering by any options you've chosen there). To see the works at the opposite end of the sort order, just click on the last page number visible in the page list across the top of the works.
