This is such a sweet comment, thank you. I'm REALLY glad that the dream imagery worked for you because the ending was a bitch to write and there were so many ways it could have gone. As for the green dress, it's possible that it was tight enough to become part of the Laura morph? But it's also very possible that Ax was momentarily serving a Lewk to no one at all, which is yet another layer of pathos to deepen and enrich the story. I amaze myself sometimes.
