I would love a PM system too; just as other users have mentioned, it would be so nice to be able to carry on a private conversation with another reader or an author when it doesn't pertain to the fic in question. I would especially like it because sometimes I like to offer my assistance with beta reading, but I think that needs to be a private conversation. I'm finding this to be a real stumbling block to the process. Wish you'd get the mail bag up and running!
