I confess that I was unsure about this final because so many daughters (women in general) were killed off in the show, but it was my plan since the start that Moyra would find freedom in her death, taking her daughter with her as a symbolic claim on the matrilineal line. Recently, I watched The Witcher (I apologize if you are not familiar with the show) and there's a scene that took me back to Moyra and her unnamed daughter as a central character from that show reflects on the hardships women endure.
