    Yea ya yeah, I think it would've worked really well in this story, so I'm not quite sure how you could-- ... hmm I had an idea.
    Both Dream and Techno are out adventuring, fighting and getting loot and conquering new lands and stuff, when they're ambushed by unfairly OP mean ppl. (You can make your own lore or have references to other things, like Watchers or Dreamons.) These mean people may or may not know that their new captures are of importance or {omg, I'm getting so many ideas} royalty (you can decide), but they imprison them. Perhaps in their adventuring, one or both of them had gotten hurt, so they couldn't immediately annihilate all their foes. They're both locked up and seeing their loved one in pain is worse than physical torture. Uhhhh stuff and things and they somehow get out! If you want, you can add another character, or they get out with The Power of lOvE!™[*sparkly disney princess music*]
    And it's not just a repeat of this fic or the one where 'Technowastaken' ;] because they both were.
    Yeah, just torture is mlehgg. As I explained in that previous comment, all the fluff felt like being all the way under a blanket for too long and needing a refreshing breath of cool air. Y'know?

        Omg I'm so glad I could give you some ideas! :D
        I thought of a phrase that fits this story and am really proud of it and I hope you can take inspiration from it or just straight up use it if you want:
        "Cries of agony muffled by exhaustion"
        ...It sounded better while I was thinking it up, okay?
