    I love how Grim looks! Is it an animal mix, that comes from some fairytale or did you make it up?
    Beautiful artwork!

    And nice story, but I think it's more a crossover, because I didn't really understand the world they are in and felt a bit lost for it. So I would call it a crossover and not just an Alternative Universe.

    I liked to imagine, how the necklaces looked like. I like, what they tell about how they view the other.

      I'm glad you enjoyed it!

      Grim is a qilin, a popular mythical beast from Chinese myths and legends. It's like the unicorn of some Asian cultures if you will.

      And also, crossover.... crossover with what exactly? This world isn't based on any preexisting world or fandom. It follows common wuxia/xianxia elements, like cultivation, weapons, spiritual animals etc.

        Ok, seems like a misunderstanding. Sorry, that I said it were a crossover, please take it as a compliment, that it felt like the world was too complex for just one story ;) I don't know what the wuxia/xiaxia thing is, seems like another topic I'll look up. The sects and everything just felt... I don't know how to say it, it felt too established, like one should already know the world and to me it was the feeling, like when I read in a fandom I don't know and the author things everyone who reads it, would already know what the world was like.
