"Unlikely, but romantic"!!!!!!!! This was wonderful. I loved reading about Adachi pushing past his nerves and doubts, recognizing how far he's come, leaning into the unknown. And gosh they are so sweet and take such good care of each other - you captured it and expanded upon it so well. Loved the image of a blushing Kurosawa too :,) thank you for writing and sharing!
