    ohhhhh man this is so COOL!! it's so awesome how two details changed the entire plot,, and i am so here for ellie getting not one but 2 parents augh 😭 and even the dance scene at the end!! because maybe tess would've caught seth before he decided it was calling-teenagers-slurs time!! genius i tell you!!!! i am so v here for this :D

      Thank you so much!! I had such a nice time exploring the idea, I think it's super interesting to change around a couple things in canon and think about what might have happened instead. And I fucking love Tess too, she would have definitely caught Seth earlier and stopped him from ruining their night together :)
      (also if you read the sequel, I'm sorry)
