That's true! It is definitely some closure for Caspian, in the sense that he knows that Lucy is not dead, but safe, and that he can still talk to her! She is not lost to him (or Rilian) entirely. Less agony, all around. <3
I don't know what is so difficult about present tense, for me, but it really is! Maybe I've just read too many books where that isn't the case. And I'm going to send you an e-mail about the wedding story - the little bits I wrote were about everything but the wedding itself - having an ancient Queen of Narnia marry a Telemarine-turned-Narnian king is not as easy as one might suppose!
