Comment on Call for Feedback on Category Change Proposal

   "Animation, Comics, Manga & Other Sequential Art" is really long and cumbersome and, in my eyes, too broad. AO3 is the first place I've ever been where I've seen cartoons and comics lumped together like this. Why not make two separate top-level media categories -- Animation, and Comics? If the problem is that Anime & Manga have to be together (which I'm not arguing against), put that category in both.

      Subcategories can't belong to more than one category due to technical limitations.

      I've registered your feedback; we will use it in our ensuing discussion. Keep an eye on the tag wranglers mailing list, as we usually do an internal review before we go public.

         Oh, they can't? I was assuming these categories would work like tags do, now, hence the confusion. Thanks for the response, though!
