    I remember in the books that when Aphrodite acknowledged her kids/ blessed them, she granted them a temporary beautifying effect that would continue to passively improve/ correct their appearance even when something happened to diminish it.

    Aside from the supermodel appearance upgrade, would this passive beautifying effect be active on Joe and if so for long?

    Also, is Aphrodite’s Blessing another perk that automatically boosts the beauty of whatever Joe creates?

      There’s a difference between Minor Blessing and the blessings we see in Percy Jackson. The blessings of Aphrodite and Ares are temporary buffs while the blessing of Artemis is basically how she makes her demigod equivalents. Minor Blessing specifically gives a diminished version of one of the powers a demigod child of the deity in question would have. Things like a blessing of Poseidon granting water breathing but no other abilities. With Aphrodite it’s beauty, only not the stunning levels some of her children can manage. The ‘minor version’ means Joe can create beautiful items and has a portion of that spill over to his own appearance, but none of the charmspeak, emotional insight, amokinesis, or ability to speak French that characterize a full demigod.
