    It's interesting because one of these things wasn't done at her, but it hurt anyway and then the other thing was actually a wrong done to her, even if unintentional. But the combination makes the actual slight sting worse. Especially in a universe where (if we take ALL of s2 into my own little slice of fic and I'm not sure if I do yet!) Colin seems so willing to extend understanding/grace to Marina if he then later lashes out at Pen over LW as regards Marina.
