Oh my.... oh my! What a fantastic look at Nil! He's by far one of my most favorite characters in the Horizon universe, and I absolutely love love love how you've portrayed him here! It's so easy to just look at Nil as the crazed murder boi, but putting faces and history into why he acts the way he acts... *chef's kiss* Gorgeous writing, the way you have Aloy and Nil interacting is so natural and feels true to their characters. I love this fic so much and will definitely be reading it again today :D
nil is extremely complex and thinking critically about him, it’s easy to see that he’s suffering from some major trauma and in hzd he had very unhealthy coping mechanisms – which is why his growth in hfw is so glorious and beautiful.
