I am never a fan of changing characters ages even for au’s, no problem with it but I just don’t personally like to read it- but I allowed myself the time to get used to it and lord this is too good! I am progressively becoming more attached to the characters and Mumbo is just so damned cute. If they end up keeping Grian, I will be beyond excited to read the complete havoc he and Mumbo get up to! Kid Mumbo and Grian seem so silly and I am living for it.
Thank you ever so much for this comment. I had been a little back and forth on this. I like changing themes and genres with each story but this one I wanted to try to write more of a backstory and not leave everything to assumptions and cliff hangers. As such I was pretty unsure about it. I never wrote people as children before but I wanted to build up their connection and after the last story of suffering and not talking. I thought we all could do with a break from it.
I will give you a hint. Scar, Doc and Ren all trying to give the pair the 'talk'.
