Essential chapter. This Daemon's head understands perfectly well that his other self felt humiliated by Rhaenyra and that he reacted by rubbing "the young whore" in his face as a form of insubordination. Victorious death seems a more satisfying alternative to having to manage the ruins of the kingdom and the emotional state of his wife and queen. Original Daemon is prideful and terrible at handling feelings. Will this timeline's Rhaenyra find out what happened? And will young Aegon grow even more frail? I look forward to a new chapter.
