The need to return where that other self hadn’t just 👌🏼 Glad he made it back to Egg to try to be his father though and, maybe I’m seeing what I want to see, but this feels like the first chapter that he really refers to Egg as his son a number of times? And the want to hold him? Hngh. Which just means I need to reread for the Rogue to Father pipeline
Yes, this is one of the first chapters where he consistently and deliberately refers to Egg as his son multiple times! Usually, it’s sort of unconscious, almost a mental slip (for the first 25 chapters, Daemon almost exclusively thinks of him as “the boy” when he’s not addressing him by name). Also, the “Rogue to Father pipeline” made me smile. 😊
