      People tend to forget that, as it isn't brought up as often. The show, which is where a large portion of the fandom comes from completely ignores the fact that the Starks became the rulers of the North because they beat every other house into submission. The Bolton's multiple times. The show also paints the Starks in a very positive light and denotes them as the protagonists of the series.

      Just noticed you're commenting on Ch. 1, so hope you enjoy the next twenty odd chapters as well.
