    My theory is that the demons aren’t actually demons, they’re her inner demons? maybe she’s also schizophrenic? but i think she’s struggling with a lot of guilt, manifesting in the form of “demons “

      Hi, that’s actually a fun idea, although I did explain my point of view in the notes in the beginning of chapter 6. But I do love your imagination and creativity!! Don’t take it as offensive, please!! I only mean to say that these demons are an enormous part of herself and that also if she’s been seeing them since she was young, how could she have felt any guilt prior that if she was just a child? I’m curious to know your thoughts about it.
