    Ahhhhh, yes!!! Sorry it's taken so long to comment, I've been too brain dead to write anything at all much, but I love this chapter, you really bring us into the forest, show us Katie's confusion and arrogance, and then theres dobs competence, his kindness...how compelling. I can't wait to see the romance build...and everything else to come. ❤️❤️

      Awe thank you, I am so glad that you enjoyed it! Yes, Katie's conflicting feelings towards Dob's sweet nature was a finnicky thing to balance, but I am quite pleased with how it turned out. Two fools beginning to fall in love to messy results.
