    Raava not ambient energy of the setting, but that does make things more complicated. - So, yeah... I basically had to do some of my own lore-building for this one. The elemental powers are inherent within them, but what if the element is not available? We see this on the regular with water bending - they run out of water. So I came up with the idea of the two multiversal bodies (Avatar-Earth and Runeterra) being close enough so that they could interact, but different enough to nerf bending.

    We all know why bending in the time of Korra needs nerfing lol.

    I'm sure they stalled with the whole untangling thing. - heh. Yeah...

    that's the Korra that we love. We just know Asami would be *thrilled*. - Oh... I think Korra could not only convince Asami it was a fun idea, but that Asami would then do it with her. Though Asami would probably wear a parachute.

    respect. - Thanks! Plus, it makes miscommunication based conflict realistic! As opposed to so much media, where people misunderstand something perfectly obvious in order to drive the entire plot forward.

    LOL (see, what I did here?), is it? - I see it! :D Unofficially, among fans, at least, I have seen it called that. Whether or not there are any internal communications in Riot Games calling it that... I'm going to say probably lol.

        hmmm good thinking. - It's funny. In so many ways I think the foundations for their relationship came about in The Aftermath and When Extremes Meet, even though the payoff for those foundations wouldn't happen until the end of the show. 1) Asami liking the action enough to keep up with Korra, rather than trying to slow her down, as shown in the race; 2) the two of them in sync, quickly and easily, as shown in the chase scene (interestingly, they also set up how Mako was *not* in sync in the same scene).

        So when so many writers/artists depict Asami having to bail Korra out of some sort of trouble, it's fun, but I don't think all that realistic. More realistic is Asami right there with Korra, doing her damnedest to make sure the two of them don't get caught. :)

        I know I wouldn't bother with language barrier so all the more respect to you. - Thanks! It definitely made the parts I've written so far interesting to plan out. So far, there haven't been many opportunities for the language barrier to come into play, but that could change as I flesh out the story more.

          I mean, I don't mind them bailing each other sometimes out of trouble - Asami's rescue from Earth Kingdom's airship and the desert coming to mind, but yes, I understand ;)

            Oh, yeah, for sure, that's great! I was thinking more the "what did she do now?" vibes that a lot of people give Asami. Asami knows what Korra did, because Asami was right there doing it with her lol.
