    hehe I Love a good breakdown. and while Mk in the show has gotten close a couple times (i'm thinking about whent hey all hug him at the end of s5 right after he comes back) he never really has the time to Fully Let it out. And after last season? Gods does he Need To. Im giving the show the benefit of the doubt and hoping they'll give us SOmething bc they've been so much better than most shows about this kinda stuff (cough cough ninjago my beloved cough cough) Also, as always I usually model character's breakdowns after my own. It's very cathartic to write and also, honestly, pretty fun bc it puts what I'm feeling onto paper without it having to be like Mine yk? Anyway lol
    I really can't wait to see mk growing after this yk? I think, finally, all his family's words are gonna get through to him. From macaque's video game, to Piggsy making him that food at the beginning of s5 and damn near beating him over the head with the message but he doens't Get It (I didn't even notice until rewatches). I just want him to realize that it's not always on him and that's mostly something I'm gonna be trying to do with this series! I want mk to finally realize he has a group of friends/family that can and will help him hold the weight of the world. just bc he exists.
    and thanks! Writing Sandy was weird bc I didn't wanna make him Too therapist but also he's sorta like that in the show. fine line and all that. but his scenes with mk in s5 Really stuck out to me. he tried So hard to get the kid to realize that he's not solely responsible. and he kinda got through? but not in time and not enough to stop it. and him hugging everyone when Mk went through the pillar? GOd that killed me
