the swap aus are crazyyyyyy oh my gosh. i have a drabble written for joeys pov already thats one summary away from being posted and then i have a separate swap au which i will happily ramble to you about in dms at some point! and im glad you enjoyed the last paragraph! it was originally much more painful, with gem fighting the ocean transformations and being portrayed as a kind of death, but i thought it didn't really fit either gems character or the ocean god lore, and i think this works much better :] as always i love your comments and thank you for reading!
