Summary
MJ never expected to counsel superheroes for a living. It makes sense in a weird sort of way. Her life has never been normal; there was the cult initiation where her friend group saved a goat. There was the trip to Asgard to impregnate a death pigeon. There was the snap, and the blip, and the memories she can't make sense of.
Cut to age twenty-two, and something, someone, is missing from her life. MJ can't seem to stop herself from prodding her tongue against the metaphorical broken tooth.
It would be better for everyone if she left it alone, but like hell if she's going to.
