Summary
On a rainy day at the interim Alliance HQ in Vancouver, Violet Shepard tries to convince the brass to put right something the Alliance had once gotten wrong. Unbeknownst to her, her wife Ashley went before those same Alliance brass wanting an honor for someone for the future.
Meanwhile, several decide to surprise them both, ensuring that the architects of galactic peace are truly honored.
Deals with complicated father-daughter and father figure-daughter figure issues, and puts a nice bow on the stories of both Ashley's grandfather and the man who was like a father to Shepard.
