You make me really happy, but I'm terrified that if I let it get to that level again, I won't be able to move on from you as easy as I moved on from her. I don't think I ever could."
Ruby slowly opened her eyes. Otis wasn't looking at her, he didn't see her eyes getting wetter.

Ola shook her head and tightened her hold on his knee “No Adam, it means the exact opposite. It means you’re not scared of your emotions, of facing them, of being a human being and of being vulnerable.”
He exhaled shakily, his vision was becoming blurry.
“And trust me, you feel better after a good cry”
He looked at Ola’s blurry face, he should really blink the tears away so they wouldn’t spill out of his eyes but he was exhausted. What if she was right? What if it was okay to cry? What if that was exactly what he needed? What if he did feel a bit better after?
