Summary
Ritual is a series of stand-alone stories slashing the brothers Nathan and Peter Petrelli. Their relationship is obsessively romantic and addictively sexual, and their familial closeness vastly intensifies everything - not to mention the fact that they have superpowers they only gradually become aware of.
Their characters are largely based on Heroes program canon, but there's a whole lot of backstory that I made up which has been contradicted by subsequent episodes, and thus was severely "Jossed" (i.e. I speculated on things I didn't know, which were later canonically established as something different), and now can only be considered as having been "inspired" by the show, but canonically incorrect in dozens of ways. As they say, "Oops." I did try. I think I did pretty good.

Summary
Adam Monroe, not Peter Petrelli, rescues Claire from Sylar at homecoming. As for Peter, he never makes it to Odessa becomes he falls into a coma, and Nathan brings him back to New York. Meanwhile, after homecoming, HRG sends the Haitian to wipe Claire's memory of Adam, but he doesn't and Claire and Adam continue to secretly meet each other.
