The RK-900 needs the valuable information about deviants stored in Connor’s head. It captures him after a very unfortunate chase.
Held against his will, Connor is stuck, with nobody to save him.
At least Nines is tormenting him instead of humans.

RK-900 kidnaps Connor and takes a sick interest in trying to deviate him. Connor stays, even though he has multiple opportunities to escape, because there's nothing left for him out there. Even if he does capture the RK-900, he'll still be obsolete and deactivated once again. After all, maybe Nines isn't too bad... -

Summary
Connor and Nines have been captured by Cyberlife and find their only way out to be a rather sketchy looking portal. Not wanting to fall back into their captors hands they go through it, finding themselves in a world just like their own but a step to the left. In a world devoid of androids, Injured and sticking out like a sore thumb, they need to figure out what to do. With the supplies they need rarer than ever and the people they love never having met them, can they find a way to return home, or will they get caught by this world's government and torn to pieces?
Gavin Reed is not prepared to deal with two strange aliens harassing him. What the heck is he supposed to do in this situation? He did not sign up for this!
(I.E. Gavin thinks that the RKs are aliens and doesn't know what to do about it, the RKs want to get home but are also worried about their humans in this world, and none of them are expecting the differences and similarities between them.)

“ Saw you on the news, it was kinda badass, “ he praised, “ I’m surprised you were able to see me so quickly, though, I thought you’d be hanging out and celebrating with your android buddies? “ Hank had asked, eyes curious, icy blues scanning his face.
Connor hesitated in answering, words getting uncharacteristically caught in his throat. It was unlike his normal speech pattern, typically quick, methodical and stable. Then again, he was still a machine at that point. Deviant Connor seemed to get his words caught more often.
He didn’t like it.
He hadn’t had time to pull together an answer, as Hank seemed to notice something in his expression and sighed, heavy and rough, pulling him towards his car by the arm of his jacket with a heavy step onto the ground with worn out boots.
That had rebooted Connor’s voicebox, and he had asked “ Where are we going? “ gently, confused. Hank huffed, shaking his head like he couldn’t believe the words that left the android’s mouth.
“ My house, something’s telling me you have nowhere else to go, “ Connor had opened his mouth to protest, which Hank cut off with an exhausted glare, “ Don’t fight me on it, I haven’t slept and I will hurt you. “

Within the crowd of celebrating androids, he realises that assumption is wrong.
