Otto’s hand rises from where it had been at his hip, holding Awsten’s phone between his thumb and pointer finger. Awsten pauses his searching motion, slowly reaching over and plucking it from his hand.
“... Thanks. Where was it?”
“In the bed.”
A beat stretches between them.
“... Why the fuck were you in my bed?”
Otto’s shoulders raise, and in sync, so do Awsten’s eyebrows. “Dude?”
Otto shrugs, going into full defensive mode. “It doesn’t matter, I found your phone for you, why can’t we just—”
“You were in my bed.” Awsten smirks, his eyes narrow. He takes any opportunity to tease Otto he can; it’s nothing personal, aside from the fact that it’s entirely personal and targeted. But, again in his defense, Otto just makes it too easy. He’s fun. No one else reacts the way Otto does to his teases and jabs. It’s like he wants Awsten to keep prodding him.Series
