Summary
Laurent is a nerd with serious isolation issues, completely obsessed with getting into university. His brother Auguste left him behind in the city when he was just 13, and as a result, he has basically zero social skills. Damen is everything Laurent hates: popular, effortlessly confident, surrounded by friends like Nikandros who laugh at his terrible jokes, and girls (and guys) who practically swoon at a single glance from him. To Laurent, Damen is a walking symbol of everything that's wrong with the teenage world; to Damen, Laurent is a blond iceberg capable of freezing him solid with one look.
They hate each other, deeply, mutually, from day one.
But one day they’re forced to work together on a semester-long project, and what begins as pure hostility slowly reveals something else: in every universe, in every possible version of this mess of a life, it was inevitable that they would end up feeling… whatever the hell this is.
