Summary
The Summer House is a dream long coveted by the Summers-Howlett clan, and in the brave new world that is Krakoa, it serves as the sanctuary from the chaos that is this new mutant paradigm. Friendships are blooming. Romance is afoot.
One night, the Hatchery, the means in which mutantkind has cheated death, spontaneously produces a woman carrying the genetic makeup of a child between Jean and Logan...one they've never met. One they've never even considered conceiving. Her arrival sparks intense debate, threatening the carefully crafted balance that the new mutant nation has fostered in its fledgling era.
Even she knows not where she comes from, and her arrival boasts new opportunities for new relationships with those she considers family...while also stirring up old demons from the X-Men's past poised to burn down their new paradise.
As well as lay bare the rot that is festering beneath.
