Summary
They say history always repeats itself, in a way or in another. That is due to the fact that events of the past fade with time, be it decades or centuries. Hyrule is a clear example of this, with old gods, demons, madmen and heroes waging wars against each other in a never ending cycle and barely any records to tell the stories.
Zelda is ignorant of this, but she's so done with people telling her what to do. She'd rather call upon an ancient wargod rather than kill a man that she's not even sure he's the reincarnation of evil.
(An AU in which Zelda is done with her kingdom's idiocity, Ganondorf tries to be a good guy, and Link is far more than just a mortal soul chosen to save everyone)

Summary
Gaon had almost forgotten how striking Yohan is, when he wants to be. He’s grown so used to seeing Yohan at home, teasing him when they’re both dressed comfortably, that he’s forgotten how Yohan wears his suits like they’re armour. He’s forgotten how confident Yohan is in his mask; as Yohan turns away from the window to look at them, the morning light hits the window behind him and almost makes him glow. Yohan's eyes focus directly on him and Gaon sees the second Yohan processes his appearance, the way his eyes widen minutely and he recoils, if only for a split second.
“Kim Gaon,” Gaon says before Jinjoo can speak, stepping forwards into Yohan’s personal space to offer his hand. It’s the second thing, Gaon thinks, to throw Yohan off kilter. Gaon took his intimidation tactic and used it before he could. Yohan takes his hand slowly.
