Summary
Playing with spacetime is dangerous. When an experiment at the world's leading research facility goes a little bit wrong, everybody there is spun ten billion years in the past, isolated and with no easy way to return. However, what was thought to be a danger only to them has a far worse impact in the long term. The very, very long term.
