Summary
They couldn't have known they would be assigned to the front. After all, War College was pretty much guaranteed. Right?
But after bringing their suspicions to Petra who in turn used the information to launch a coup, Alder was punishing them for the failed attempt and they could do nothing about it, marking an end to the Bellweather Unit as we know it.
