Following Orgrim's rise as Warchief, shadow council's defeat and the siege at Stormwind failed, Orgrim blieving orcs and humans can never be at peace to end the war is to go to the north, cut Stormwinds allies and end the war, so the orcs can finally have what was taken from them.
Lothar slain blackhand but to win the war he has to at Varian's behalf form stronger alliances in the north, from other human kingdoms to other races.
Both sides got their own scribes, Utok and Milan on their missions in this warcraft.
The elves try to protect their homeland and their people as the warcraft rise, Sylvanas and Alleria will have to make choices some that leave a mark on their very core.

Summary
Set in the brutal aftermath of the Third War, Arthas and his Scourge slaughters the last of Lordaeron's human refugees. A low-born farmhand, Alvus was sparred from initial purge and escaped with High-Elf Ranger Jennalla Deemspring to Dalaran.
With the Lich King's powers waning and insubordination among the Scourge giving rise to the Forsaken, the remnants of Lordaeron's human stock soon forge a plan to leave the Violet Citadel and establish a tri-alliance between Aerie Peak, Quel'Danil and Durnholde in the Hinterlands.
Our story follows Alvus, and his rise to greatness as he courts, smash and fights his way to defend his new found home in the South.
