“What am I seeing here?” She gestured to the photos. Five little girls occupied the screen. Diana’s gaze fell to their swollen midriffs. She tried and failed to unclench her jaw. She couldn’t believe what she was seeing. There had to be another explanation. Sometimes, she thought, when children are really, really hungry – when they are malnourished for months and years – their stomachs jut out just like that. She hoped that was the case with these girls.
“Meet Maria, Constance, Judith, Sophia, and Gloria. Over the past two weeks, these five girls – all of whom recently reached the age of menarche – were found by their primary caretaker to be at varying stages of pregnancy. Their ages range from ten to fourteen years. One of them is about sixteen weeks along. The other girls are anywhere from six to twelve weeks.” Martin explained slowly and clinically.
Diana felt her heart racing. She wiped away beads of sweat from her nose and fought back another heave.
“You’re sure?”
“I wouldn’t be telling you this if I weren’t sure, Diana.”
“What the fuck.” She whispered. Martin nodded soberly.
“I know.”
“Seriously, Martin. What the fuck.”
“I know.”

We need to solve this for MOM. I won’t have her death – this brutality – brushed aside. I’ll do this alone if I have to – I will. But I promise you she needs us, Diana. Please.”

With Totally Spies getting a new season I’ve been rewatching old episodes and remember the crossover with Martin Mystery and watched some episodes of Martin Mystery also. I think Alex deserved a love interest and Martin was perfect for Alex so it’s a shame the love story ended with that episode. So I will be writing my own story with new chapter popping up every week, though maybe skipping a week until September. As Clover's ex-boyfriend Blaine is set to re-appear and I want to know if Blaine will be wanting to pick up from where they left off. If not I already have an OC planned to be Clover's love interest. -
