Summary
Not everything new is awful. But not everything new is immediately good either.
Enola set him up to get a flatmate whom she deemed fit enough to manage and put up with her brother. Sherlock didn’t expect to have to give up so much of his space, mentally and physically, for his new flatmate. He also didn’t expect to fall for him. Especially at the exact time that the 1885 Labouchere Amendment came out, dubbing ‘gross indecency’, with or without proof, an offence and at worst, punishable by a life of imprisonment. With the police constantly on his trail, and a growing demand of money piling up, Sherlock is faced with a worrying case which Enola just cannot stay out of!
Time is of the essence and with time comes change, but whether one can adapt and thrive to change is a different mystery.
Will he finally let Watson in? Or will Moriarty get to him first?
