Summary
Macaque lives his life one bad idea at a time. Graffiti-covered walls, late-night skate sessions, and sprinting from security after tagging places he definitely shouldn't.
One night, while running from the police, he takes a wrong turn and ends up at a quiet garage on the edge of the city. That's where he meets Sun Wukong: a local mechanic, professional sourpuss, and someone who has no interest in whatever problem Macaque is about to become.
Unfortunately, Macaque has a habit of sticking his nose where it doesn't belong.
And in a city where underground racing runs on adrenaline, reputation, and people with something to prove, staying close to Wukong means Macaque is about to get pulled into a world he was never meant to touch.
Wukong wants to be left alone. Macaque doesn't want to listen. Between illegal races, grease-stained garages, and terrible decisions made after midnight, the two of them keep finding their way back to each other. -

Now that Macaque's spirit and memories are healed, he and Wukong have agreed to try and make amends and try to rebuild their friendship. But that was never going to be an easy task. Luckily, their new friends are here to help. As long as both Wukong and Macaque are open to their help. And as long as they are able to learn how to listen to and help each other.
Aka - I'm putting Wukong and Macaque in therapy courtesy of Sandy. We're going to deal with their mutual traumas and hopefully give them a happy ending by the end of this.

Summary

Fifteen years ago, Liu'er Mihou escaped the mountain with his children.
He tries to adapt to normal life, but a lot has changed in the last seven hundred years, and he's a single parent of two young children with an obsessive ex to avoid.
He needs a house, a job and someone to guide him through this strange new world.
Funnily enough, all three can be found at a small family owned noodle shop.
Now, after a decade and a half of being free from Wukong, his son unknowingly brings the monkey king back into his life, and he's pretty keen on getting his moon and stars back.Yandere Wukong au where he and Macaque have kids and Macaque runs away with the kids and tries to stay the fuck away from the yandere monkey.
Aka Macaque suffers because he is one of my favorites and yandere Wukong is really fun to play around with.

Macaque hit the ground running.
He tore through the woods at a pace many could not phathom of achieving. His boots were long discarded, favoring his bare feet for more balance.
His lungs burned and he had to push down bile as it crawled up from his throat, his right ankle burned with a stabbing pain. Maybe jumping off a 20 foot cliff was a bad idea, now that he thinks about it. Also ripping said ankle from ice was probably not doing him any favors. He can hear the cackling laughter of her and her thrall she sent after him. Her lapdog cooing sweetly at this not so new game of cat and mouse. The weight in the sling he made from his beloved scarf was a firm reminder of what he had to lose. What he couldn’t lose.
He had to keep moving.
Or:
Macaque runs away from LBD and ends up with MK and his group, attempting to keep his secrets, well, secrets, proves to be difficult. As well as slowly starting to trust these wannabe heroes.

I still haven’t watched seasons 4 & 5 when they first came out, but I’ll try my best to not get too carried away and keep them a little accurate, this is my FIRST EVER fanfic outside of silly roleplays so hopefully I don’t do too bad (ㅅ´ ˘ `) my apologies and a heads up for any errors and mischaracterization. While trying to watch season 1, I decided to look for fics similar to this to keep up with but saw there was none, so I’m attempting a try at it!

It might seem hopeless but the thing is, whether you're very close to it... even if there's nothing more you desire besides leaving out that fucking window, until you actually do it, success rate is 100% so... just keep it up!
Basically Mk forces Wukong and Macaque to have an actual conversation and they're not happy about it. Sandy volunteers to help, but he might've bitten off more than he can chew... but at least the cats are enjoying themselves!

“Your noodles are gonna get cold,” Pigsy tells him from across the counter. Wukong jumps, shoulders hitching, chopsticks dropped. Pigsy gives him a deadpan look.
“What are you starin’ at, anyway- oh.”
Wukong shoves his hand in front of the piglet’s mouth. “Keep your voice down!” he whisper-shouts.
Macaque doesn’t look their way, but it is impossible for him to have not heard them. His ear twitches at the sound of Wukong’s panic, swiveling to his direction. He just barely tilts his head, but gives no other tell that he’s eavesdropping.
