Summary
While dealing with complicated feelings towards his best friend's cousin, Jimmy is approached by Lex Luthor, who offers him an alluring business opportunity. He wants Jimmy to work with him, and in exchange, Lex will stop pursuing violence against Superman while the deal is active. As well as insider information on some of the secretive happenings in Metropolis.
Meanwhile, an overworked Lex remains captivated by a certain journalist. He doesn't understand how someone so clever and inquisitive can't see that Superman is a threat that needs to be dealt with. He concocts a plan to try to get closer to one Jimmy Olsen, and in the process, gain a valuable ally.

Due to a few changes in history and recent events because of The Crisis on infinite earths, Reign never killed Patricia and seeing Ruby's distraught face and horror in Lex mansion caused her to falter enough for to be captured. With the events playing out somewhat similar to the original universe but instead being permanently banished after being remerged with Sam, Reign is instead dormant, just lurking beneath the surface awaiting her chance to resurface. -

Summary
Barbara Gordon dreams of becoming part of the Justice League, but Batman doesn't think she is fully ready yet, due to her having trust issues and leadership issues. Meanwhile, Kara Kent is tired of her cousin's overprotective nature and only allowing her to do hero work in Metropolis. One evening she sneaks out for a night in Gotham and meets Barbara for the first time. They bond for a bit, but it's clear that Barbara is hiding something. A few nights later, Batman, Superman and the other heads of the Justice League are captured by Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and Livewire with a plan to destroy them once and for all.
Seeing this as her chance to get into the League good books, Batgirl sets off to rescue them. Supergirl offers to help which Batgirl declines, but she joins anyway, along with Stargirl, Bumblebee and Green Lantern (Jessica Cruz). Can they save the League before it's too late? -
