Aphrodite saw him in the dark of night, Seirene Perseus, scaled skin shining in Phoebe's moonlight. Aphrodite was fond of mischief, and upon seeing Phoebus' gaze upon the Destroyer, she saw the opportunity for what it was. With a flick of her wrist, the boys skin flew into the Sun's hands by the grace of Zephyros.
(basically i combined selkie/swan maiden coats and sirens and then made this all Apollo and Percy's problem)
